Dan Franklin and Rosa Cucicea of River City Bank’s Walnut Creek location joined other local business leaders at the Family Business Strategies Summit.  The event was held at the St. Regis Hotel in San Francisco and presented by the San Francisco Business Times.  The program began with a lightning round with expert advisors who discussed issues unique to a family owned business.  It was followed by a panel of local family business owners who spoke on the common challenges they face, as well as strategies and best practices for effectively managing and growing a family business enterprise. They shared the vision and values of their businesses, strategies for creating a governance plan, managing conflict, succession planning, and the many issues, rewards, and opportunities that come with leading a family owned business.
