Notice of Change in Terms

River City Bank (RCB) Deposit Account Agreement, Business Visa Debit Card Agreement & Disclosure (if applicable), and Visa Account Updater Service Disclosure

Change in Terms Notification for Both Consumer and Business Customers

River City Bank is changing our Visa Debit Card Network affiliation to the MasterCard Network beginning in August 2017. You may use your new RCB Debit MasterCard anywhere in the world where MasterCard is accepted. You will be pleased to find the vast majority of your favorite merchants accept both VISA and MasterCard transactions. The fees, terms, and conditions of your account will remain the same; this is simply a network brand change.

Expect to receive your new RCB Debit MasterCard in the mail between August 1st and September 15th, 2017. Until then, please continue to use your current RCB Visa Debit Card. You will begin to see more detailed information regarding the switch to MasterCard beginning August 1st.

As a result of this change, within the RCB Deposit Account Agreement and the RCB Business Visa Card Agreement (if applicable), all references to “Visa” are changing to “MasterCard”.

Your Visa Account Updater Service will be replaced by an equivalent process called MasterCard Automatic Billing Updater (ABU). You may opt-out of this service at any time by calling us at (916) 567-2899 or (800) 564-7144, writing to us at Customer Service Department, River City Bank, 2485 Natomas Park Drive, Sacramento, California 95833, or e-mailing us at CallCenter@rivercitybank.com. As a result of this change, within your Visa Account Updater Service Disclosure, all references to “Visa Account Updater Service” and “VAU” are changing to “MasterCard Automatic Billing Updater” and “ABU”.

Important Note: As of July 15, 2017, if you have not used your Visa Debit Card since December 31, 2016, you will not be issued a new Debit MasterCard and your Visa Debit Card will be deactivated on September 15, 2017.
